Since the turn of the century I have worked in both supplier and client-side consumer insight roles. I have developed new business, expanded existing client bases, moderated focus groups, designed surveys, programmed surveys, listened to thousands of hours of qualitative transcripts, combed through millions of data points, and written very compelling and action-based reports and presentations. Regardless of the role or the method, the one common theme through all of it is storytelling - really good storytelling.
